CMIG President Li Huaizhen Meets with Singapore's Former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong

On March 30, 2017, President of China Minsheng Investment Group (“CMIG”) Li Huaizhen met with Singapore's Emeritus Senior Minister and Former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong in Sanya, Hainan, and the two sides held cordial and friendly talks. Minister Goh Chok Tong expressed his wish to help CMIG effectively to achieve a better development in the longer term.

Mr. Li first conveyed the cordial regards of CMIG Board Chairman to Minister Goh Chok Tong, and then expressed his gratitude to Minister Goh Chok Tong for his support in the second meeting of CMIG Global Advisory Council held in Singapore. 

Mr. Li said that he highly agreed with the view that China and ASEAN countries should continue to promote the global trade which was put forward by Minister Goh Chok Tong during the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2017.

Mr. Goh Chok Tong expressed his wish to help CMIG effectively to achieve a better development in the longer term. He also asked in detail about the investment distribution and the development progress of CMIG International - a subsidiary of CMIG - in Singapore. 

Chairman and President of Boustead Singapore Limited Wong Fong Fui, Chairman of Shanghai Petrochemical Exchange Sun Jidong, Chairman of Hainan Jianfeng Tourismn Luo Haiqiang, Chairman of Signapore-based Nanyang Ventures Pte Ltd. Fan Hanxi, Chairman of CMIG Futurelife Wang Hui and other guests attended the meeting.
