CMIG adds first managed aircraft into fleet

17.09.2018 Shanghai, China

CMIG Aviation Capital is pleased to announce that it has added its first managed aircraft into fleet.

The wide-body aircraft B777-300ER, with list price at 361 million USD, is on lease to a leading North American airline, and was sourced by CMIG Aviation Capital from a third-party vendor and sold to a consortium of Asia-based financial investors following lease novation.

The Dublin-based lessor, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Minsheng Investment Group, will be the lease manager and primary remarketing agent for the buyer/new lessor.

The Boeing 777-300ER is a long-range widebody aircraft powered by engine GE90 and it is the world's largest twinjet and a passenger capacity of up to 550 with a range of 13,649 km. The Boeing 777-300ER continues the evolution of the 777 series.

Peter Sixiang Gao, Chief Executive Officer of CMIG Aviation Capital commented, “This transaction demonstrated the company’s capability of sourcing, structuring and executing complicated revenue opportunities, and winning mandates of technical asset management and remarketing services for wide-body aircraft.”

CMIG Aviation Capital is the commercial aviation financing platform of China Minsheng Investment Group. The latter is a leading private-owned investment group in China.
