CMIG Established the Global Advisory Council to Facilitate Globalization Strategy

China Minsheng Investment Corp., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CMIG") hosted the launch ceremony & the inaugural Global Advisory Council (hereinafter referred to as "GAC") meeting  at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on 30 January  2015. The establishment of the GAC will boost CMIG's globalization strategy.

At the moment, the Chinese economy is increasingly integrating with the world economy and exerting a profound and interchangeable impact on it. CMIG has, since its inception, taken "the full utilization of domestic and overseas resources and markets, and has been following the national globalization strategy" as its strategic vision. CMIG has set up China Minsheng International in Hong Kong and is also actively making arrangements in Singapore, London and other regions to establish regional headquarters. CMIG stands ready to follow the national "Going Global", "One Road One Belt" strategies and spearhead the "globalization" drive of private capital.

CMIG Chairmannoted in his speech that CMIG was founded in April 2014 with a registered capital of 50 billion yuan and is the largest industry-finance group initiated by the ACFIC and approved by the State Council. In short, CMIG  is a milestone in the development of the Chinese private economy so it makes sense to say that CMIG has shouldered a glorious mission since its birth. For that matter, it calls for experts with an international vision and background to guide development orientation, gather capital and raise CMIG’s profile. Today, the GAC's establishment marks a solid step taken by CMIG towards that direction.

It's understood that the GAC will voice inputs and opinions for the international macro landscape, overall development strategy, overseas investment strategies and policies, corporate governance and other relevant issues faced by the company's development. Comprised of 20 members who are authoritative experts with an eminent reputation and position both at home and abroad, the GAC will hold at least two in-person meetings annually.
