On 6 February 2015, China Minsheng Investment Corp., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CMIG") hosted a dinner with ASEAN Ambassadors on the "One Belt One Road" Strategy in Beijing. Mr. Stanley Loh Ka Leung noted that "I believe CMIG's investment will bring about new business opportunities and interests for both sides. CMIG's deepened cooperation with us in ASEAN is welcomed and today marks a good start. All of us present here can lend a helping hand if CMIG has any need when developing its businesses in ASEAN countries."

President Li Huaizhen indicated that "as is known to all, China has started to contact and conducted exchanges and cooperation with Southeast Asian countries for more than 2,000 years. We are well-connected culturally and enjoy a long-lasting friendship. In 2014, China-ASEAN trade volume reached USD480 billion and China has become the largest trading partner and export destination of ASEAN. For now, the Chinese government is moving forward with the 'One Belt One Road' strategy, with a focus on the Maritime Silk Road where ASEANS countries are located. We have three strong points when it comes to the cooperation with ASEAN enterprises, namely, correct judgment on industries, viscosity of private economy and capital advantage."

He said that "it's an important mission for CMIG to lead private companies to go global. Today, we are meeting together to explore into the route for Chinese competitive industries to go global. This is just a start. I firmly believe CMIG  will have more opportunities to exchange views with all of you and share information, business opportunities, resources and talents. I believe by engaging in business cooperation and implementing the 'One Belt One Road' strategy, we will surely realize mutual benefit, win-win outcome and common development!"

Following the two speeches, the participants enjoyed the dinner and had thorough exchanges and discussions.
