In the afternoon of September 3, B20 Summit formally opened in Hangzhou, Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, delivered keynote speech at the opening ceremony. Sun Yinhuan, Vice Chairman of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice Chairman of CMIG Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yida Group, Shi Guilu, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of CMIG Board of Directors and Chairman of Rongmin Group, and CMIG President Li Huaizhen attended this Summit.

In his opening address, President Xi Jinping pointed out, China today is now standing at a new historical starting point, China has the confidence and the ability to maintain medium to high speed economic growth, continue to bring more development opportunities to the world while achieving self development. To this end, China will unswervingly deepen reform in a comprehensive manner, implement innovation-driven development strategy, propel eco-friendly development, drive forward fairness and sharing, fulfill precision poverty alleviation, continue to expand opening up, and bring about broader mutual benefit and win-win, in particular, revolving around “One Belt, One Road” proposal, China will share its development opportunities with countries along the route, in order to create mutual prosperity.

Since its inception, CMIG considered assembling private capital, and propelling industry upgrading & transition as its bounden duty, it made active investment deployment centering on the national innovation development method and “One Belt, One Road” strategy. In the aspect of innovation growth, CMIG made active investment in construction industrialization field, through industrial upgrading of traditional construction industry, it accomplished rapid growth in this trillion-grade market; in the aspect of propelling eco-friendly development, CMIG vigorously deployed photovoltaic new energy industry, in Yanchi, Ningxia, it is now constructing the world’s biggest single-unit photovoltaic power station, up till now the Phase I first batch of 380MW has successfully been connected to the grid, thus offer clean and eco-friendly sustainable energy solutions to the local area; in the aspect of propelling fairness and sharing, CMIG did not forget poverty alleviation while seeking development, in Ningxia it vigorously propelled “Photovoltaic +” innovative precision poverty alleviation model, by improving villagers’ employment skills, improving villagers’ living environment, creating new jobs and providing innovative financial supporting plans, it effectively improved living quality of local residents, so as to help the local area to fulfill poverty elimination ahead of schedule; in the aspect of mutual benefit and win-win, CMIG actively responded to “One Belt, One Road” proposal, united more than 20 outstanding domestic private enterprises to walk out together, it is currently constructing Southeast Asia industrial park project, in July this year it joined hands with the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Tsinghua University to formally kick off Phase I “One Belt, One Road” talent Cultivation Pilot Program, aiming to cultivate more high-end talents in industry and commerce for Indonesia, an important country along the Maritime Silk Road.

Just like what President Xi Jinping said in his opening address, China has the responsibility to propel global economy to walk onto the road of powerful, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth, for this reason China is vigorously propelling the construction of innovation-oriented, open, interlinked and inclusive global economy, open up source of growth, expanding development space, converging interactive cohesion, and consolidating foundation for win-win. As a convergence platform for large private enterprises initiated by the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, CMIG also shoulders the responsibility to make its due contributions to the growth of China’s private economy, and even the growth of global economy. In the future, CMIG will, on the basis of existing deployment, further pool ideas and wisdom of Chinese private enterprises and overseas & domestic partners, continue to work actively for Chinese economy and global economy, and boldly blaze a new trail for Chinese economy and global economy.
