CMIG Leasing Becomes the First Asian Business User of Airbus Helicopters’ H160

[2016.11.1 Zhuhai, China] On November 1, 2016, during the 11th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition, China Minsheng Investment Group International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CMIG Leasing”), the largest helicopter financial leasing firm in China, signed a memorandum of understanding on the procurement of H160 helicopters with Airbus Helicopters Inc., the world’s largest helicopter manufacturer. Thereby, CMIG Leasing turned into the first Asia business user of H160 helicopters of this company, as well as one of its first batches of H160 users in the world.

It marks another critical progress of the cooperation between CMIG Leasing and Airbus Helicopters after the procurement agreement for 100 helicopters signed in September 2015 by these two companies. Mr. Tang Min the President of CMIG Leasing and Ms. Marie-Agnes VEVE the President of Airbus Helicopters in China jointly attended this signing ceremony as witnesses.

H160 refers to a major high-end helicopter newly developed by Airbus Helicopters, which had its debut in the Heli-Expo of 2015. Integrating a dozen of patented technologies of this company, H160 is regarded as the model of new-generation helicopters in virtue of a series new designs and advanced technologies with significant improvement in its performance, flight stability, economic effect and passenger comfort. It is hopeful to take a considerable share in China’s civil helicopter market that is enjoying booming development.
