We should not only make plans for the enterprise development from aspects of business and investment, but also give sufficient consideration to the long-term evolution of society. The efforts to be made should include: really implement the Belt and Road Initiative, closely combine the enterprise’s own strategic and national strategy, achieve high level of unity of corporate value and social value.
For this reason, CMIG International, a subsidiary of CMIG, has established “the Belt and Road” talent development fund, with the total investment of RMB 100 million and taking 10 years to pay off. It will help the Chinese enterprises which make investment and grow their businesses in Indonesia to realize the strategy of talents localization and support the long term implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Moreover, CMIG, Kadin and Tsinghua University signed a cooperation agreement in Shanghai. According to the agreement, Tsinghua University was commissioned to run a special program for training the business administration talent of Indonesia, funded by “the Belt and Road” talent development fund of CMIG. The is the first special talent training program funded by the private enterprise and carried out by Chinese well-known university, after the Belt and Road Initiative being proposed. The implementation of this program marks that, CMIG is fully fulfilling the Belt and Road Initiative, investing abroad while training local talent, aiming at promoting the integrated development of regional economy and society in the countries along the route of the Belt and Road.
CMIG also held the “the Belt and Road” ASEAN Ambassador gathering in Beijing, and invited dozens of Chinese leading private enterprises to visit Jeju Island of South Korea, aiming at going into depth on the topics of “implementing the Belt and Road Initiative ”, “accelerating the project of CMIG industrial parks in ASEAN”. In addition, CMIG International held a business exchange meeting in Singapore, introducing the investment development of CMIG in foreign countries and the Belt and Road Initiative to the local businesspeople and officials as well as China’s major organizations and enterprises in Singapore.
